Activities

Stefan Tai is Full Professor at Karlsruhe University, Faculty of Economics and Business Engineering, Informatics Institute AIFB. Since November 2007 he leads the research group “Economics and Technology of eOrganizations“. His principal research interests are in the areas of service computing and SOA, including service middleware and engineering of reliable e-business applications. Prior to his appointment in Karlsruhe, Stefan Tai worked for more than eight years as a Research Staff Member at the IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center in New York, USA. Overall, he has more than 12 years of experience in industry research in the US and in Europe. Stefan Tai studied Computer Science at the Berlin University of Technology and holds a Ph.D. degree in Engineering.
